X-ray films from real root canal cases here. They are not pretty pictures, but they are the only honest way to show what the treatment actually does.
Every photograph is of a real patient here, published with their written consent and cropped to the mouth, so no face appears. The only things done to the files are cropping and white balance, so that the before and after sit at the same distance and in the same light, with the brightness of the teeth themselves left untouched — nothing is retouched, no filter is applied, and no tooth is made whiter than it was.
