Warranty
What We Guarantee, in Writing
These are the terms printed on the consent form you sign before treatment. They are published here so you can read them before you decide, not after.
Dental implants
The implant itself — replaced at no charge, counted from the day it is placed
- Straumann5 years
- Neodent2 years
- Dentium / Osstem1 year
The crown, abutment or restoration — counted from the day it is fitted
- No charge1 yearRepair or remake if the crown, abutment or restoration comes loose, chips or breaks in normal use.
- Half priceYears 2 to 3The same repair or remake, charged at 50% of the usual price.
- Never chargedNo time limitTightening a loose screw, re-cementing the restoration, adjusting the bite, polishing a small chip — as long as you come for a check-up every six months.
Conditions
- Tell the clinic about the problem before the warranty period ends. A problem reported afterwards is not covered, even if it started while the warranty was running.
- Cover depends on you coming here for a check-up and a scaling every six months. Miss two in a row and cover is suspended until the implant has been re-assessed here.
- Having the work adjusted, repaired or redone at another clinic ends all cover from that day.
- Once the implant's own warranty period is over there is no set half-price rate. A replacement implant is charged at the usual price; the clinic may help with the cost case by case, at its discretion, and that is a discretionary decision, not an entitlement.
Not covered
- Inflammation around the implant (peri-implantitis) caused by plaque, poor cleaning, smoking or missed check-ups.
- Accidents, impacts, and biting something hard.
- Failure linked to an uncontrolled medical condition.
- A broken crown where the dentist advised a night guard and it was not worn.

If you are abroad when something goes wrong
The warranty covers work done here, repaired here. It does not pay for treatment at another clinic, and having the work adjusted elsewhere ends the cover — that is not us being difficult, it is that we can no longer vouch for what was done.
So if something feels wrong while you are away, message us on LINE or WhatsApp with a photo before anyone touches it. In most cases we can tell you whether it will wait until your next trip. If it cannot wait and you have to see someone where you are, tell us first and ask them for notes and an X-ray afterwards, so we know what was done.
The six-monthly check-up that keeps the cover alive can be difficult if you are only here part of the year. Say so at the start. The clinic would rather agree a realistic interval with you than have you find out at year three that the cover lapsed.
What we cannot promise
No dentist can promise that a tooth will last a particular number of years, and we do not. What the warranty does is say plainly who pays if something we made fails in normal use within the period above.
Two things outside anyone's control affect the result more than the materials do: how well the work is cleaned every day, and whether the habit that broke the last tooth — grinding, chewing ice, opening things with your teeth — carries on.
Questions about a specific case are best answered by the dentist who did the work. Call 091-859-9292, or ask at the front desk for a copy of the consent form you signed.
Want to ask before you decide?
Call or message us any time we are open. Or come in and let a dentist look first — about 20 minutes — and decide afterwards.
Open every day, 10:00–19:00
